1. First Made-in-Malaysia Automotive IC Development Program

Stack Semiconductor is supporting initiatives to explore the development of one of the first Made-in-Malaysia automotive integrated circuits using the Chinese semiconductor EDA flow.

The initiative focuses on:

  • Automotive semiconductor workflow development
  • Functional safety-oriented IC design methodologies
  • Digital and mixed-signal semiconductor integration
  • Semiconductor verification and validation workflows
  • Building local semiconductor design capability in Malaysia

The program also aims to strengthen Malaysia’s semiconductor engineering ecosystem by increasing exposure to advanced IC implementation and verification flows used in modern automotive semiconductor development.

2. China EDA MPW Flow Development for Malaysian Foundries

Stack Semiconductor is also exploring the development of localized MPW (Multi-Project Wafer) enablement flows based on the Chinese EDA ecosystem for Malaysian semiconductor manufacturing environments.

The objective is to support:

  • Malaysian semiconductor design enablement
  • Foundry-compatible IC design flows
  • Process-aware semiconductor implementation
  • Academic and industry semiconductor prototyping
  • Local semiconductor ecosystem collaboration

The long-term goal is to help strengthen semiconductor design accessibility and accelerate local IC innovation workflows within Malaysia and ASEAN.
